If Your Spouse Isn’t Your Best Friend… That’s a Problem
If your spouse isn’t your best friend… that’s a problem.
In marriage, priority matters.
When your husband or wife becomes second, it opens the door for distance, division… and eventually disconnection.
This is a hard truth, but a necessary one:
➡️ Who do you run to first?
➡️ Who do you confide in first?
➡️ Who truly has your heart?
If you’re telling someone else before your spouse… something is out of order.
📖 Genesis 2:24 (NRSV) — “The two shall become one flesh.”
📖 Ephesians 5:31–33 (NRSV) — Marriage reflects unity, love, and priority.
🔥 Strong marriages are built on:
Friendship
Trust
Communication
Putting each other first
