Giving is an act of worship in our relationship with God who gave His only Son Jesus Christ to redeem mankind. God is our role-model and gives His Word as our instruction manual. His people in the way they should live in order to be blessed.
All Scripture is given by the inspiration of God and it profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction in righteousness (2 Tim. 3:16) ,
it is God breathed and does not change, “For I am the Lord, I do not change;” (Malachi 3:6)
The “Word of God stands forever.” (Isa 40:8)
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever. (Heb. 13:8) Throughout the Old and New Testament, God, Jesus, and His Disciples continually teach about the importance of giving in all areas of our lives. God blesses us so that we can bless others, it’s about relationships rooted in love.
Your gifts (fruits of the spirit, first fruits of your increase=money) are often referred to as seeds and if planted in good ground will yield a crop that will spring up and increase and produce a bountiful harvest(Mark 4:8).
