Moses Was Frustrated

Mar 1, 2026    Pastor Danney

Have you ever let someone frustrate you so much that you ended up reacting in the flesh instead of the Spirit?

In this powerful moment from our sermon, we look at the story of Moses and how frustration led to disobedience — costing him entry into the Promised Land.

📖 Numbers 20:10–12 (NRSV)

Moses struck the rock instead of speaking to it as God commanded. Because of that moment of frustration and disobedience, he was not permitted to lead Israel into the land of promise.

📖 Ephesians 4:26 (NRSV)

“Be angry but do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger.”

📖 Galatians 5:16 (NRSV)

“Live by the Spirit, I say, and do not gratify the desires of the flesh.”

Frustration is normal.

Disobedience is optional.

Don’t let people push you into sin.

Don’t let pressure rob you of promise.

Don’t let a moment in the flesh cost you what God prepared for you in the Spirit.
